My mom and I have been here several times and loved it each time! I was over the moon that that had soft shell crab!!! We have some minor suggestions on tweaking recipes and the owner was interested in our opinion since we're originally from Louisiana. We'll definitely be back! 😊

Great food and service!

We ordered crabcakes, etouffee, shrimp/fish plate. Everything we ordered was great! Crabcakes were a little salty for my taste but roumalade was great and paired well with it-and the shrimp! Etoufee had great flavor, the hushpuppies were tasty-jalepeno hushpuppies. (Nice touch) The shrimp were pretty good size and cooked perfectly. It was a nice little restaurant. The wooden seats pinched my legs but they have cushions to make that part more comfortable. Haha.

Delicious food! The crab legs were amazing and my husband said the buffet was one of the best he's had in a long time. Wait staff didn't seem to be in a big hurry, but they were very friendly.

Our waiter was quiet kind. And even if it is a seafood reasteraunt there is plenty of food that people who happen to not like seafood. The waiter handed us coloring sheets for the lids in the family. So that was fun.*Realization*I LEFT MY COLORING PAGE

Great food, the chicken fried chicken is awesome, would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Best place to eat in Town! I never liked pork Rinds until I tried the homemade ones here. Excellent service and menu. I highly recomend the Blue Point oysters

We did the chicken buffet and it was good. Fried chicken livers were excellent!!! Waitresses were wonderful and went out of their way to make us welcome as travelers.

I've been to big Daddys several times and the food is awesome. Great layed back atmosphere, clean and great service ! Best burger in the area !!!

Have had breakfast here two times and will be back. The food was tasty. The gravy is full of meat. The biscuits look and taste like homemade. I had scrambled eggs and they were fluffy not the flat thin kind you get at some of the local places around here. In all it was very good.

You just got to stop here and check out the catfish. Everything on the menu was prepared superbly.

Our large family went in and paid 24.95 for the seafood buffet a piece and they had very little on the buffet. The waitress said we are restocking and the cook would bring out a small bowl of shrimp and we waited 30 minutes or more for them to bring out fish. WE finally got tired of waiting and just left. As we were walking out the cook brought out a very small pan of tilapia. I was very disappointed. If you offer a seafood buffet at that price it should be stocked!!!!!!

We had a glorious breakfast, very well prepared, and excellent flavor. The service was great and the waitress had a very bright and welcoming personality.

The good was excellent, we ordered the chicken buffet ...home made mash potatoes and gravy, fried chicken, backed chicken, chicken tenders, chicken n dumpling, Mac and cheese, fried okra, milk gravy, green beans, home made cobbler..just fantastic..will go again when camping here in Lakeview.

If you love seafood, this is your place. From soft she'll crabs, shrimp, frog legs, aligator, fish, gumbo, and the like, the seafood buffet is a real treat on Friday night. Eat until your full. Other days by menu order. The awesome dining experience. Friendly people.

Excellent food was hot waitress very good.

A group of 15 of us stopped in on a motorcycle trip. We are all from Cajun country and were thrilled to learn the owner has roots in south Louisiana. The food was delicious, the seafood was, in fact, from the Gulf, and the service was great. Highly recommended!

Great food, great service and it is always clean.

Great food! Love the shrimp poboys! Husband loves his oysters on a half shell. I tried boudin for the first time, actually really like it. The buffets are wonderful! Thursday night is chicken and Friday night is seafood. Love the fish and shrimp. And make sure you get a bowl of the chicken and dumplings. Taste like Mom's! 😍 kid friendly, good hearted people. Happy to have a seafood restaurant that's actually really good.

Best place to go if you like a homemade food.

Lunch menu not appealing but their entrees were good, service horrible, not going back anytime soon if ever. Take a cushion to sit on, they're by the door after you enter. The wood seats are beautiful but hard. We went back 3x since last post. The food is still delicious and outweighs the sometime iffy service. It was quite warm inside every time we ate there. It's CLOSED

Lunch was 3 enormous, perfectly fried pieces of fish and fries. Delicious! The restaurant has been sold, but The new owners will learn some of the recipes and add other American foods. We have high hopes for more good food at Big Daddy's.

I don't want to give a bad review because I get this is a small old town restaurant but jeeze.... The place needs remodeled, and the food was not good & way too expensive. I will not go here again, sorry.

Service was great! Chicken fried steak special was delicious and the three piece fish special was delightful. Portions will not disappoint, price was reasonable for the portion size. ❤️

If you are into seafood this is a must! They have a all you can eat on Friday night and the owner travels down to the Gulf Coast every week and brings back fresh whatever for the buffet! Nice, clean, friendly place.

Best fried shrimp I've ate in years.

Sevice was bad. The beer wasn't cold. Food was decent.

Went here Friday.Waited forever for service. Finally a waitress comes to our table and asks if we wanted the buffet. I asked to see a menu. She was obviously upset and said we would wait at least another 20 minutes for our food to get cooked because they are cooking the buffet food first. She said she would get menus. Never asked us what we wanted to drink.After a few minutes it became obvious she was not bringing us a menu so we walked out. 1st and last time I will go there. Went to 178 Club and and had a wonderful dinner.

Staff was friendly. Clean restaurant. My mom had daily special and she really l in liked it. My order was not what I expected, but they made every effort to correct the issue.
